Life Support
Life Support is a support group of friends listening to friends for anyone experiencing life-challenging illness, loss, transition, or transformation. Meeting are on Wednesdays from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Tierra coffee house in Coralville. All are welcome!
EFM
What is EFM?
Education for Ministry (EfM) is a four-year program in which we explore scripture, church history, and modern ideas, practice thinking from a theological perspective, and attempt to understand our calling to ministry/service.
Details
The material for the program was developed at Sewanee: The University of the South, which also administers the program. Participants commit one year at a time and meet weekly during the academic year. Each seminar group consists of six to twelve members with at least one trained mentor who plans and facilitates the discussions.

Our Iowa City-Coralville EfM group has included participants from New Song and Trinity, as well as individuals from other churches and faiths. If you are interested in learning more about EfM:
